3rd Annual Land Run Beard & Moustache Competition
The Grand Ole Barbershop is thrilled to announce the return of a cherished local tradition with its 3rd Annual Landrun Beard & Moustache Contest which will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024. This spirited competition, rooted in the heart of the community, invites enthusiasts from near and far to showcase the results of their grooming prowess. The contest promises an array of creative and meticulously cultivated facial hairstyles, celebrating the art of barbering and the personal expression it enables.
Set against the backdrop of the barbershop's vintage charm, the event not only highlights the skill and creativity of participants but also fosters a sense of camaraderie among them. Attendees can expect an event filled with laughter, friendly competition, and the sharing of grooming tips and techniques. Local judges, known for their expertise in barbering and styling, will have the challenging task of selecting winners!
Apart from the contest, the five day '89er event is a perfect opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy local entertainment, rodeos, vendors, food trucks, a parade and in addition support small businesses during the 95th annual ‘89er Days Celebrations. The Grand Ole Barbershopp is excited to host this beloved competition, inviting everyone to join in the week long festivities.
