Saturday Morning: 10 - 4 PM

With a Break for Lunch.

In this workshop, I will guide you through the inspiring basics of encaustic painting, a beautiful blend of purified beeswax and damar resin. Together, we will melt the encaustic medium, apply it to wood panels, and fuse the layers of wax with a heat gun or blowtorch. We'll begin with step-by-step instructions to recreate a stunning bee on honeycomb, and then I'll introduce you to various techniques. You'll have the chance to create your own unique masterpiece, tapping into your newfound skills.

No previous knowledge is required; just bring your enthusiasm! The workshop will begin at 10 AM and end at 4 PM, with an hour-long lunch break.

There will be a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12.
