Here are the job duties for the Operations Manager position. We will be accepting resumes through Monday, March 31. This is an independent contractor and not an employee of God's Food Bank. God's Food Bank will not provide any benefits. The Operations Manager will be required to work Tuesday mornings when the truck is unloaded and shelves are stocked. This is usually from about 8:00 until 12:00. Wednesdays the food bank is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Operations Manager is usually there from about 9:00 until 6:30. Requirements
DUTIES OF OPERATIONS MANAGER Daily Manage the daily operations to include: Oversee the receiving of food whether it is from the Regional Food Bank, Food Drives, or individual donations. Make sure food is stocked and ready for clients to shop. Make sure clients are served and treated with respect. Make sure clients are following all requirements. Supervise all volunteers. Make sure records are accurate and maintained. Monitor food and supplies and order as needed. Make sure the facility is maintained and kept clean. Be sure that all food handling procedures comply with Health Department requirements. Weekly Order from Regional Food Bank. Quarterly Report on Food Bank operations to the Food Bank Board. Annual: Report on Food Bank operations to the Food Bank Board at the end of the fiscal year and the annual year. There may be other reports and paperwork required which may include but not be limited to: notices in newspaper, monitoring the God’s Food Bank website and Facebook page.
