Lunchtime Learning: Storm Chasing

  • Storm Chasing: Capturing Big Ideas Through Brainstorming | May 2 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
    Presenter: Cara Adney
Storms don’t just pop up. The elements have to be just right to create these atmospheric weather conditions. It’s the same with big ideas. They don’t just happen, but when the right people and processes come together to brainstorm a project or a problem, the results can put an end to your team’s creative drought. Brainstorming is both an art and a science. There’s more to this creative thinking process than simply throwing out ideas for consideration. In this interactive session, you’ll explore what brainstorming is and what it’s not, why there are added benefits of bringing others together, how to create an environment that fosters creative ideas, and tips to facilitate a session that gets great results. In addition to learning how to make a brainstorming session effective for your team, you will also discover practical and creative ways to challenge yourself to think creatively when you’re working solo.
